Our current catalog includes “Feral: Arise and Remember Who You Are,” “Poe Dad no Dad,” and “The Crown Path Initiative.”We serve as a leading voice for justice-impacted authors and youth mentorship programs.

1123 is the address of my grandmother's house — a safe place that became a gathering place for cousins, friends, neighbors, and anyone who needed a warm meal, a listening ear, or a little extra love. Everything we publish carries that spirit forward.

My grandmother was a true matriarch — the kind of woman who never seemed to turn anyone away.
At 1123 I met people from every background, and listened to conversations about education, business, family, faith, struggle, success, and second chances. Everyone who came through that house had a story — and without realizing it, I fell in love with stories too.
Sent to prison at sixteen. In some of the darkest moments of my life, I kept returning in my mind to the lessons of 1123 — compassion, community, perseverance, and the belief that people can grow beyond their circumstances.
Those lessons inspired me to pursue higher education, earn my bachelor's degree, become a mentor and advocate, and — eventually — begin writing.
Founded the 1123 Foundation to help create opportunities for education, personal growth, and transformation in the communities that need them most.
Launched 1123 Publishing Company to share stories that inspire, empower, and remind people that their past does not have to define their future.
Everything we do is rooted in the spirit of that house on 1123 — a place where people were seen, valued, and encouraged to become something greater.
